Corporate Training Packages
CAISS has recognised the need for a workers compensation education program for employers and key staff in the ever changing workers compensation arena.
CAISS’ on-line training and resource program, “Introduction to Workers’ Compensation”, provides employers with a broad understanding of the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme and the role of its various stakeholders. It encompasses the legislation relevant to NSW workers’ compensation, WorkCover Guidelines and provides an insight into premium methodology, as well as effective claims and incident management procedures and perspectives.
The course offers a cost efficient means of assessing the basic skills, knowledge level and competencies of nominated key personnel and staff. It provides staff with a knowledge platform of the major drivers of workers compensation and how they, as individuals, can effectively manage claims, improve return to work outcomes and minimise costs to the organisation.
The training program includes modular-based learning, case studies, tests and assessments facilitated by CAISS.
The benefits of the on-line training & resource package include:
- Ensure line management understand the workers compensation and return to work process;
- Improve efficiencies at site level when injured workers return to work;
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the organisation;
- Working examples, case studies, real time information including all industry laws, WCA guidelines, rulings, etc;
- Capacity for links to internal policies, procedures and forms;
- Secure logins, hosted externally, remote access;
- Competency based assessments;
- Cost reductions achieved through up-skilling of staff;
- Access to our free help line and dedicated account manager.
Our on-line training program currently relates to NSW, QLD and SA workers’ compensation legislation, however, a national program encompassing workers’ compensation for other states can be provided.
